Class Five

Class 5 is taught by Mrs Drewery (Monday-Wednesday) and Mrs Anderton (Thursday -Friday).

During the year in Class 5, some of the exciting topics studied as part of the creative curriculum include; the study of Space, investigating lifecycles and learning about the Ancient Greeks, The Stone Age and World War Two in History.

One of the most important and anticipated events in Class 5 is the annual residential visit, which this year will take place in the Summer in the Peak District.

In summary, Class 5 is about developing pupil confidence and independence.  It is about having fun but working hard.  We consider it a perfect preparatory year for the challenges and expectations of Year 6.
