We had a fantastic day in Manchester at the IWM, starting the day by visiting ‘Wave’: the exhibition of clay poppies that has been touring the country. We got to watch different ‘Big Picture Shows’ and talked to veterans who had fought in WW2 and served in Northern Ireland. We did some treasure trails hunting clues around the museum and even found Joey, the actual walking life size puppet from the stage show ‘War Horse’. Finally, we were recruited by Smash TV to make our own film documentaries in and around the museum. An amazing day out!
