Wider Opening of School - last Updated 20th July 2020

  • Settle CE Primary are scheduled to return in September with a wider opening of the school to all classes. A wider opening risk assessment has been sent to parents for their information and a copy is attached. We will also be staggering start and finish times to avoid a build up of people on the school site at the start and close of day. Please log onto this page for any further updates over the Summer Holiday, which will be shown below.

Update 20th July

Settle News released to parents via email with details of new (temporary) start and finish times for classes as follows:

"All classes will be returning in September, although we still need to have staggered drop off and pick up times to reduce congestion at the start/end of the school day. Although the teaching time remains the same, classes will arrive and leave at the following times: Nursery: Reception: Year 1: Year 2: Year 3/4: 8.45am-3.15pm Year 4/5: 9am-3.30pm Year 5/6: 8.30am-3pm Children with siblings can remain in classes at the end of the day until brothers/ sisters have also finished for the day. Please also watch out for emails and Facebook/website updates from Mr Wright regarding return to school plans for the Autumn." term.
