Was King Alfred worthy of being remembered as 'Alfred the Great'?
This half term we have thoroughly enjoyed investigating the question above in our History work. We had such an amazing day when Olaf came into school to teach us all about the Vikings and their battles.
We have also enjoyed our Science work on forces where we investigated air and water resistance, and friction. We also made our own pulleys using cotton spools - it was great fun.
