Year 5 had 'the best morning ever' (as quoted from 2 of our children) engrossed in exploring our local ancestors at Settle Graveyard. The children used their historial enquiry skills to extract information from different sources including gravestones, poster, job adverts and death certificates. Who knew that Queen Victoria's decorator was buried in our graveyard?!
